Q: Where you get your Inspiration? 

A: I get a lot of inspiration from movies, video games, TV, and music.

Q: How long have you been doing your nails? 

A: I've been painting them since around 2007. But I started to take the nail art more seriously in 2010. So it's been awhile!

Q: What excites you about nail art? 

A: It's a way for me to express myself and show my love for things I'm interested in. Plus, it could be a good way to generate new fans for people, so that's pretty cool!

Q: What sparked your interest in nail art?

A: I honestly have no clue. I guess I would say YouTube because of all of the tutorials. But it's a lot more exciting creating my own designs now! So yeah, YouTube sparked my interest and it's grown from there. 

 

Q: Have you considered a career as a manicurist? 

A: I have! I even got my license to do nails professionally. But to be honest, I didn't like it at all. I'm not a huge people person, so I'll stick to doing my own nails. 

 

Q: Are your nails natural? 

A: Yes! My nails are 100% natural. I try to take really good care of them so I can grow them. Nail enhancements are just not for me. 

Q: How long does your nail art take? 

A: It depends on the design! A simple gradient could only take an hour, but some of my more complex designs could take anywhere between 6-12 hours. 

 

Q: Are your manicures 100% nail polish? 

A: Nope! Not normally anyway. I do a base color using nail polish, and most of the design is done with acrylic paint. I've found it doesn't get as goopy and stringy, plus it won't ruin your brushes! It's also a lot easier to fix a mistake with paint than polish.
